2026 TOP GUN Charity

In our ongoing effort to give back to our community, The Teen Project: "Giving Every Child an Equal Change at Life", has been selected as this year’s charitable recipient of the OCTLA Silent & Live Auction to be held the annual TOP GUN Awards Program in December. The Teen Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2007.

The Teen Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping at-risk young women rebuild their lives and transition into safe, stable adulthood. They primarily serve young women who have aged out of the foster care system, experienced homelessness, survived human trafficking, or struggled with addiction and mental health challenges. Their mission is rooted in the belief that every young woman deserves long-term support, dignity, and the opportunity to create a meaningful future.

Through a range of residential, recovery, and outpatient programs, The Teen Project provides trauma-informed care that addresses the whole person. Their services include safe housing, substance-use recovery, mental health counseling, life-skills development, education support, and job readiness. By combining therapeutic care with structure and mentorship, they act as a consistent, caring presence for young women who often lack family or community support.

What sets The Teen Project apart is their commitment to long-term transformation, not just short-term relief. They walk alongside each participant as she heals, grows, and works toward independence—whether that means sobriety, higher education, or stable employment. By investing in these young women at critical moments in their lives, The Teen Project helps break cycles of trauma and empowers them to build healthy, self-sufficient futures.
