The Gavel Journal

One of OCTLA's member benefits, is our acclaimed quarterly journal, The GAVEL. Almost every bar organization has a journal, but OCTLA's GAVEL is unique. First, we routinely interview Superior Court judges, allowing our membership to find out what makes our Orange County judges tick. Second, and most importantly, our membership generously authors articles which are critical to trial lawyers, giving you legal research and analysis on cutting edge issues. One member recently commented the legal research in a recent article helped him resolve a case with significant damages.

The GAVEL magazine is mailed to over 500 OCTLA members, as well as the Judges and Justices in Orange County, the first week of April, July, October and January of each year.
